This morning, I had the honour of chairing the 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the Greater Accra Resilient and Integrated Development (GARID) project. 

This project is one of the most important interventions by the government to address the twin challenge of perennial flooding and solid waste management in the Greater Accra Region. 

I am encouraged by the progress made so far and wish to call on all relevant stakeholders to continue  the project to make it a success.
