 GHANA POLICE SERVICE MOURNS THREE POLICE OFFICERS WHO DIED IN A FATAL ACCIDENT AT KYEKYEWERE

With a heavy heart, the Ghana Police Service mourns three of our gallant officers who lost their lives in a fatal accident yesterday at Kyekyewere along the Accra - Kumasi Highway while on their way for Police operational duties. 

In line with Ghanaian tradition and the Ghana Police Service Regulations, full details will be communicated after the bereaved families are formally informed.

The police victims are said to be part of teams deployed to the Kwahu enclave for duties during the four days National Paragliding Festival.

The FPU vehicle among the police convoy plunged into a nearby bush after skidding off the highway and summersaulting.

The doors of the FPU vehicle involved in the accident flipped off and windscreen cracked.
