Raphael Patrick Sarfo also known as Raph was Born in Adanwomase in the Kwabre East district in the Ashanti Region. He is the second among four siblings. He was raised in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region.
*EDUCATION*
Raphael Patrick Sarfo ( Raph) had his secondary education at Duayaw Nkwanta secondary school now Serwaa Kesse Senior High school in the Ahafo Region.
He later continued at Wesley College of education (Wesco) in Kumasi where he acquired a professional Teachers certificate "A".
Due to his passion, love and interest in politics, he continued his education at the University of Education, Winneba for his Degree certificates where he studied social sciences with more emphasis on political science and History.
He holds a masters degree, MSc in Monitoring and Evaluation from Christian Service University.
He also have a certificate in social media law from African Training Institute (ATI) in Pretoria, South Africa.
*LEADERSHIP AND CAREER*
Raphael Patrick Sarfo started his leadership role when he was at the basic schools and has continued in all the educational institutions he attended.
He contested and won the Local National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) president at the University of Education, Winneba in 2010/2011. He was a member of the NUGS central committee that manages the day to day administration of the major student national union in Ghana( NUGS) .
Whiles at the University, UEW, he was an active member of the Student Representative Council( SRC). He was a member of the student staff consultative committee, the second highest decision making body of the university. He was also a member of the finance committee of the university. He was also an active member of the NPP wing at the University, TESCON, where he played many roles.
He has been a polling Station youth organiser for many years at the old Tafo Constituency and currently the polling station chairman. He is a grassroots activist of the party.
Raph contested the constituency organiser for old Tafo Constituency and has been active with the constituency polictics for many years.
In Ashanti region politics, Raphael Patrick Sarfo (Raph) is a household name.
He is a senior member of the NPP Communications team and has been communicating for the party on all the radio stations and televisions.
Due to his in depth knowledge in the new media where he acquired his certificate in social media law in Pretoria, South Africa, he belongs to the National social media communications team of the Great NPP party.
Raphael Patrick Sarfo, trained as a teacher, has taught as a classroom teacher for many years and in many basic school and senior high schools.
He is an author and has published many books. He is an entrepreneur and a CEO of Raph Publications, publishers of social studies and Religious and Moral Education ( RME) and Government books for schools.
He is currently working with the National Health insurance Authority (NHIA) as a Municipal Health Insurance Manager .
He has served the New Patriotic Party in many areas.
He has been a regional representative in many constituencies to organize and supervise polling station elections and constituency elections for the party. He has been a member of several youth committees under several youth organizers in the region. He was active in the past national campaigns and elections. He was a member of several regional committees and national committees that secured emphatic victory in the 2020 elections.
Raphael Patrick Sarfo(Raph) is currently the Deputy National TESCON Cordinator for the New Patriotic Party that coordinates the activities of TESCON across the whole country.
He is a known voice and face in the Ashanti and NPP political landscape.
